1. Your favourite genre of reading matter: fiction, poetry, biography, comic, other?

I’m a sucker for self-help books.

2. Favourite book about film/theatre?

With Nails by Richard E Grant. It’s the most honest account of life in the film industry that I’ve read.

3. The book that has influenced you the most?

Everyday Zen by Charlotte Joko Beck. It’s the first self-help/spiritual development book I read. The message is simple but truly life changing when put into practice: ‘Stay present, be in the moment’!

4. Your favourite character(s) in literature?

Mr Darcy in Pride and Prejudice... he was my first love!

5. Favourite place to buy books?

The Book Depository – they have pretty much everything and for a bargain
price too.

6. Best book cover?

Raw, by Charlie Trotter and Roxanne Klein.

7. Most well-thumbed?

Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom, by Christiane Northrup – every woman should have a copy on her bookshelf.

8. Your favourite children’s book?

Naomi’s Secret, by Carmen Harris! It started out as a story my mum made up for me at bedtime and ended up being published and read in primary schools all over the country.

9. Do you read on the toilet? If yes, what do you read?

No! Never there long enough!
