Where new writing finds its voice

Location:
Bath, Somerset

Occupation:
Writer / Gardener on Crazy Golf Course

Biography:

Favourite writers include: Flannery O’Connor, Tobias Wolff, Charles Bukowski (in small doses), Milan Kundera, Knut Hamsun, Hanif Kureishi, Haruki Murakami (on whom I have just overdosed), and Leonard Cohen. Probably my favourite novel is John Fante’s The Brotherhood of the Grape. I also recently rediscovered Marvel comics, particularly Silver Age Amazing Spider-Man, which no matter how disappointed they sometimes leave me, will always occupy a special place in my heart. My first novel, which I thought I had finished last year, is currently undergoing major renovations – just as my first poetry collection did some years before. Meanwhile, a short story collection seems to be coming along nicely.
